Purpose:

These web pages were designed to provide program and admission-related information on California Post-Licensure ADN to BSN and ADN to MSN Programs.  The goal is to empower ADN-prepared nurses wishing to return to school to further their education by listing verifiable program information that may be important during the application process.  Prospective students may access our user-friendly web pages to obtain current, comprehensive, individual program information to begin the process for selecting a school to obtain their BSN or MSN degree(s).

Selection Criteria

The selection criteria during the first stage of web page development includes any nursing school that offers a post-licensure ADN to BSN or ADN to MSN program to California nurses.  Only schools with campus locations (or satellite campus) in the state and/or an online program originating in California were included.  Thus, program information from schools outside of California that nurses may access with an online curricula have been excluded during the initial implementation phase.  Since this is a multi-phased project, it is expected that additional program information will be added in the future.  When this occurs, the site will have information on both post- and pre-licensure programs.
