Centralized Clinical Placement System

The Nursing Resource Center provides a one-stop online tool for clinical placements by bringing schools, hospitals and other clinical agencies together in one convenient online portal to allow access to the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS). The Resource Center receives support from HealthImpact and the Foundation for California Community Colleges.

The Centralized Clinical Placement System allows schools to quickly match their students with open placements. Clinical agencies review and respond to requests in a standard format and are able to manage placement applications from all schools on a single schedule. CCPS makes it easier for schools to find clinical opportunities for their students and for clinical agencies to fill their openings. CCPS offers a customer support desk, individual training and orientation, an online user manual, and other user resources.

Several California regions are using the Nursing Resource Center, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Bakersfield, as well as Florida, Hawaii, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas.
