Organization Mission: The mission of the National Board is to foster improved healthcare outcomes, patient safety, and patient/provider communication, by elevating the standards for and quality of medical interpreting through a nationally recognized and validated certification for medical interpreters.
Level of experience desired of nurse candidate: N/A; other board experience would be helpful but is not required.
Desired area of health care specialty (if any): N/A; we are looking for a candidate who sees medical interpreters as a critical part of a patient’s care team and is passionate about ensuring patient access to quality medical interpretation.
